Heh heh *blows off cobwebs* Yeah I thought I'd finally update again. It's been a while I know, and my bad on that stuff. I've been pretty busy settling into Cincy and such that it's just sorta slipped my mind. You can thank Aimee for smacking me upside the head and telling me to update more often. I know a lot of you guys are wondering how I'm doing, huh? I'm actually doing really good, Cincy ain't half bad. I got some new pals here, and I still keep in touch with teh Sox guys. My teammates tease me because I obsessively check the scores and highlights of the Red Sox games. Dunn joked that if it was up to me, I'd write "OX" after the S in "Reds" And you know what? I may do that...haha j/k But seriously, it's been great here. My teammates have been awesome, the people here are damn nice, and my pitching? Well, to say the least, I've been pretty damn solid. Hell, Sean McAdam called me the "NL Offseason Acquisition of the Year" at least so far. But then again, I've been lucky with good run support. Save for my last outing. But yeah we're first place in teh NL Central, how about that? That's pretty solid, I gotta say. I finally got my own place with Aimee here, we live by Dunn, Freel, and Mercker. Mercker seems to REALLY like me. Like at Mouthbreather levels of like. I kid, I kid.
But yeah things are good, I still play the music, haven't found any really good venues to play here, but I play at home and I play for teammates. But as I said once, and I'll say yet again, Music is a hobby for me, it's not my job and I don't think it'll ever be my job. That CD I put out was just for shits and giggles really, I mean, I was approached and I thought "Hey that'd be kinda fun to do" so I went and did it. Right? Right. Oh and For you Red Sox guys, tell Wily Mo to keep up his end of the trade, I don't want you guys getting screwed over.
Anyways, yeah so that's what's going on lately. I hope you guys are having a good one, I'll try to check up on you dudes slightly more often. I hear I'm pretty missed around here, so I may as well. I gotta get ready for gametime. Later all. |

Man it's been busy lately here in Cincy. We're tops in the NL Central and I mean, I've actually been doing not so bad. I hit another bomb as you all know. And I've been pretty good. I'd you know talk cocky and shit to Theo and be all "HOW YOU LIKE ME NOW BITCH" but that's not the right thing to do. He traded me to a place where I could start and the guy picked me up when I was at my lowest point in my life and baseball career and gave me a chance to prove myself, ya know? So yeah I can't really be mad and stuff, and I got a WS ring too :) I enjoyed my time and it sucked that I got traded, but you just gotta make due. I've been trying to chill and stuff. I made a lot of really good friends here like Dunn, Mercker, and Griffey, they're really cool.
Yeah I don't really have a whole lot to talk about, but Iv'e been doing really good, and I like that. I still talk to my teammates and Youks is constantly texting me about the team and its progress, and I'm glad to see you guys doing well, like Papelbon. I knew he had it in him. I'm also glad to see Lenny having a spot in the rotation. Don't worry Lenny man, you'll be great. Belli is back, and Tek, I'm really glad for you two. Glad to see you guys reunited. :) I'm happy about everything right now, I mean it wasn't how I imagined it to turn out, but you know what? That's life for ya. I hope for Cincy to keep up this way and I'm gonna do my damndest to make that happen :)

Thought I'd do up my weekly update right now while I got a bit of time. Cincy isn't half bad, to be honest. Well we're in St. Louis now, but this team isn't that bad. Got some good guys, I'm bonding with a few of them. And they all seem to get a kick out of my "mad hitting skillz" which I still can't believe I hit that second homerun. I think it's the earflaps. Either that or Glendon Rusch really seems to love me or something. Maybe I'll send him a fruit basket. Well anyways, really not much going on. Aimee seems to be getting along with some of the wives and has a new best friend in Mrs. Youkilis. Usually once or twice every homestand, we have dinner with the Youkilis'. They're really nice folks. Their son...err...a little spazzy but he's a good guy deep down.
I hear things in Boston are pretty good. Boomer is on the DL, adn you know...if you wanna swallow your pride and pick up a healthy young and cheap starting pitcher...just look over here in Cincy...I mean...there's this guy I know whose pretty tall and blonde and he has an ERA of 1.98 for the time being...just so you know. I kid I kid. But I hear things are pretty good. Beckett, Schill, and Wake have been great and I've been checking out some of you guys' play. Good stuff...you guys keep on keepin on, you hear? And I'm sorry to ahve not been at that superfantasticapartmentcomplexparty and heard Stern sing. His voice isn't that bad...but still, he has a weird taste in music.
Well anyways I should probably get going. I got a start tomorrow afternoon vs Mark Mulder. Wish me luck :D Though I doubt I'll get a third HR, but if that happens, that'd be very cool, but Mulder's a damn good pitcher...not sure if I stand much of a chance to be honest. Anyways, I gotta head out, Kent and Harang wants to grab a drink with me so I'm out. Later all. |

Hey boys and girls, thought I'd go and give you all the weekly update. Yeah not much is really going down around here, but I'm making my next start on Tuesday, yet again vs the Cubs and yet again against Ryan Dempster. I saw that you guys saw my mad power hitting skillz and you wonder where they're from. Belli, Papi, and the gang are all saying individually that "I taught him that" but it was really the helmet. The earflaps, ladies and gents. The earflaps. Just ask Trot who I hear has been on a bit of a hitting tear lately...am I right? I watch the games pretty obsessively if I'm not in game or something, I need to keep tabs on my dudes out in Boston. Hope things are going well there. Things are pretty cool here. I got some new pals like Freel, Griffey, Dunn, and Mercker. They're all chill guys. Griffey's made me feel at home for a long while. I'm also a fixture in the Youkilis household as the wifey and I sometimes go over there to have dinner. Youks, you never told me your mom was quite the cook. And has a nice ass ;) I KID I KID! Just wanted to see you squirm right there, man. Well anyways that's all I got for now, but I do wanna leave you guys with this meme I've seen pop up here and there

Hey dudes, yep I'm back here again...basically I've spent some time just thinkign things over and I kinda just have been trying to get the feel for the new guys on the team so I haven't been really able to update much. My bad on that. I decided to go update this time though, why? Because well...why not? Also Aimee kept pestering me to update saying "Com'on Bronson, there's people out there who wanna know how you're doing! I mean you've been a big pile of emo lately, so just get your ass up and write dammit!" Thus I have. So yeah.
So how is it in Cincy? Not bad I guess. The wifey and I had dinner with the Youkilis' last night. They're good people. They were just as shocked about the trade as I was. Hell I as a goddamn mess that night, just like unable to really even function, I sitll dunno how I was able to get that entry done. My teammates seem pretty cool, Griffey has been great to me. He was the first one to come over and shake my hand. Harang and I are getting along pretty well, and Mercker is a funny dude. They seem pretty cool, but I do miss my boys in Boston. I miss going out with them, and I know for sure I'm gonna miss that atmosphere at Fenway. From what I hear though, Wily Mo has been pretty cool. I don't blame them for the trade, I just wish it wasn't me they traded. *sighs* Oh well, baseball is a business and that's the breaks of the game.
Anyways I'm going up on the mound tomorrow afternoon vs the Cubs. Hopefully this time I wont suck as bad as I did against them in 05. That'd be nice. Well anyways, I promised Aimee I'd go around town with her looking at the places, trying to find some things to do and all. Maybe Cincy won't be that bad...I hope at least. I'm guessing you all heard the news now, huh? I'm now playing for the Cincinnatti Reds. I'm hurt and confused...but most of all angry. I'm upset at everybody really. I was about to go out and go to Naples with Wright and Papel when I got the call. Needless to say, I had to go there to go do the meet and greet. At least that's what I'm doing right now.
I can't be too mad at the team or the Front Office though. They're the ones who revived my career. I was at a crossroads and bouncing between AAA and the MLB. They put me on waivers. Boston was the one who gave me another chance. They took me in and nurtured me into the pitcher I could truly be. I'm just sad that I'm not gonna be there any longer. But this is a business after all, and while I'm upset, you just gotta take it for what it is. I thank them for giving me a chance to prove myself and for the best three years of my life. Who knows, mabye Cincy will be nice, too.
All I gotta say to Wily Mo is to cherish your time there. Those fans...they're the greatest. Sometimes they'll get on your ass, but it's only because they truly wanna cheer you. I'll miss it in Boston, that's for sure. I wish them luck and I thank the fans who've supported me.
Well time to go and greet my new teammates.

29 years ago today, I was born in Key West, Florida. Key West, bitches! And today, I am now born and shit and it's lovely. I've already got some birhtday beatings. Actually me and Mikey Low have been getting it pretty bad today. It's his birthday too. The two of us have planned to go out and get completely sloshed. Yeah birthdays! The rooks ran out in their underwears yesterday, which was my idea, but Tek takes credit because he's a glory hog(I only kid Tek, you know I love ya like a brother!) and really it's just been a pretty chill day so far.
Those bitches better gimme some cake...and for the love of god keep it away from Boomer because he'll eat it in two bites. I've seen him do it before. Yeah practice got cut short today, some golf thing. I'm just taking a quick breakage. I'll be bach out there cuz I gotta think of the children!

yeah I've been totally out of it lately, been a weird couple weeks, and I just thougth I'd update to give you all a hey wassup. So Theo's our GM again, man I keep wondering if anybody went into hibernation during the offseason starting October 30 and then starting like...now or so, if anybody would even notice the difference. The only things they'd realize would be Damon is a Yankee and we have Josh Beckett.
Oh and a new CF, Coco Crisp. From what I hear, he's a good guy and had himself a little bit of a music career for himself too ;) maybe we should combine our musical forces together and come up with some really lame rap-rock song about the Red Sox....yeah...that'd be amusing. But yeah I hear Coco's good people. So that's all I got for now...can't wait for Spring Training! February 18th! :D

I'm back w/ Boston for another 3 years. 3 years/12 mil. My agents were all like "Dude you can probably get so much more money for so much less time" but I'm like "well you know what? I don't care...I wanna stay in Boston" Yeah my agent supports me but doesn't approve. Seriously though, I love Boston and I'm happy with this new contract. Money is great and all, but seriously, I love it here. 3 years of my craziness. Actually will it be the full 3 years? Who knows, if I get traded, so be it. If I end up in teh pen, so be it. I'd rather start, but hey, anything to help the team. That's what being a team player is. The team is bigger than the individual. Whatever I can do, its' all good. I just hope to not be traded this offseason and perhaps the next three years if it can work that way....but whatever happens happens.
In other news, Theo is back. I actually found out this morning right after my phone press conference, they said they didn't tell me earlier because they didn't want me to slip about it. Besides it didn't ge tall officialized till mid afternoon. I gotta say glad to have ya back on board, Theo. You're a good man.
The road trip has kinda lulled recently with the new developments, but I should be making one more trip to California. Then Pitchers and Catchers report. Well we'll see what happens. Well I gotta get offline, I promised Aimee I wouldn't stay on too long. |

Holy crap! I'm still alive! Yeah, I've been totally neglecting the LJ. The Roadtrip Extraordinaire is going by pretty well. Hit up Boston and I'm still there for a bit. Probably heading back home for a couple days then going to California. Me thinks I'll have a few on board for that trip. Yeah you guys are like "WTF? Why not take a plane?!" Well, road trips are much funner. I've been all over creation in this damn thing and I gotta say, the US is a crazy but interesting place....lots of crazy places. Hey all. Happy New Year. A new year, a new start, and new craziness to go along with it. I have goals for the new year, I try not to make them resolutions because well...that just makes me break them. At least with goals, I won't feel so bad. I'm chilling in Detroit with the Tiger buddies. Dmitri sure knows how to throw a party, that's for sure. I'm still a little sore from last night and I don't even know what the fuck I did. Yeah the alcohol was that intoxicating. I think I may have impregnated myself....but enough with that horrible little mental image. The roadtrip has taken off. I still have yet to have named the damn thing, but it's like naming a bong dog. It'll come to you when you're stoned So I'm waiting to toke up for the first time in the thing have it come to me. Giants buddies, is JT good people? I hear he may be coming around these neck of the woods.
Anywho...decided to do a little meme on lessons I learned that are not consisting of me being a fucktard. We've already covered that months ago. This is mostly from the baseball front anyway.
